      Latest view seems to be no it won’t, galaxies are drifting away from each other towards ever greater spatial isolation. Seems rather bleak I hope this hypothesis turns out to be wrong.

      probably not honestly I don’t know and doubt any can reliably predict an answer for this as it may stop at some point in the future

      Who knows? At the moment populations seem to keep going up but then there may be a change in the environment or food availability or something that cuts this down. You can’t predict nature.
