Probably because males are generally heavier than females. If you take into account body weight, the weight of the brain in the two sexes is about the same. However, females tend to have a greater number of neurons (the cells that pass on the messages) than males

Men are bigger than women on average and your brain size is proportional. It doesn’t mean they have better brains though! 😉

Brains tend to be about 2% of your body weight and on average men also weigh more the women as they are taller, broader and more muscular.

Hello! The most important thing to remember about this is that brain weight is related to body size and although studies have shown that the male brain weighs more than female brains – males are heavier in overall body weight than females. If you take body weight into account the brains weigh the SAME!!

By the way did you do the quiz to to find out what sex your brain is?
