• Question: Which animal do you think has the most advanced brain?? (excluding humans & Primates)

      Every animal has a brain that has evolved to support its survival in its environment so it is hard to say which is the most advanced. Dolphins are extremely intelligent as are pigs actually. Animals that can be trained to do things are probably more advanced than those that can’t.

      Not sure, I guess dolphins as they use tools and language and live in a structured group.

      Good question! The African Grey Parrot without a doubt. African Greys are found in the rainforests of Africa and are highly intelligent creatures. They can produce language and often mimic things that people say to them – they are popular pets because of this. They have been explored in psychology labs for a long time because they demonstrate counting abilities (basic maths) and also perform well on memory and spatial awareness tests. In many ways they seem to be ‘conscious’ in the same way as humans.
