I like that I enjoy my work and find it interesting. I enjoy questioning how the brain works and why it works that way. My favourite task is designing new experiments.

My favourite thing is discovering new things every day and always learning something new. Every day is completely different which means that I never get bored!

I like that you always need to know more. One experimental result can lead to a whole new way of thinking or a new project. It is really exciting doing an experiment for the first time and wondering what will happen.
I also like the fact that I can go to lots of conferences! 🙂

I get to travel all around the world to go to conferences and meet people I’m working with (all expenses paid). In the past few years I’ve been to the USA several times (including Hawaii), Greece, Croatia, Spain, Austria, Germany and Italy. I’m hoping to go to the States again next year, and back to Spain
