Hiya! Well, winning I’m a Scientist would mean a lot for two reasons.

The first reason is that I have worked really hard to answer all your questions as well as I can – I’m actually on holiday in Greece and instead of being on the beach I’m sitting at a computer! Dedication or what?! I have really enjoyed the experience and would love to continue to show people what neuropsychology is all about. That’s why I would like to win the money – to do some hands-on ‘brain’ workshops. The second reason: I have never won anything in my whole life – no medals or prizes or competitions. Maybe that can change now? I really hope so!

      Gracey,
I would be lying if I said winning wouldn’t be great I would be very excited if I won and it would honestly mean a lot. I would mean that students (like you) liked my answers, learned something or just liked chatting to me. Being liked is always nice. It would also mean I would have a good excuse to do some more work with schools as I attempt to spend the prize money which would be good as it has been a lot of fun and I have learnt a lot. Yes, it is not just the students learning things; I have learnt things from the other scientists and the great questions we have been asked has really made me think.

It would be awesome to win as it has been a lot of fun chatting to you all but I’ll be happy anyway. I’ve actually learned a lot from answering all your questions and hope that you’ve all had an insight into what it is like to be a scientist 🙂
