Getting my PhD I think… it was a lot of fun working in the lab for 3 years and seeing the project progress. The scary bit I can’t believe I managed was the 250 page report on it at the end and the all day oral exam… but the feeling once it was done-that is was all my work-was amazing! And now I get to be called Dr haha… I never really use the title unless I am writing complaint letters though 😉

I think i answered this on my profile, I dont remember what I wrote though. I helped at a science week in wales and organised experiments for them that was fun. I also got to visit parliment to talk about science policys that was pretty cool.

I think one of the best things has been publishing a paper on letter CaSe AlTeRnAtEd words! Apart from the fact that it was a really fun experiment we found that the right side of the brain in particular is very good at recognising words when they are presented in this funny format. If you would like to know how we did this let me know and I’ll send you more info.
