Question: Was it a lot of work to get where you are now, and was school/university hard?

  Yes, it was hard, but it was worth it. Seeing a scientific paper published on research that you have helped carry out feels like such an achievement, especially when you know that the research you do could help so many people. I found school very hard because there were so many different things to learn and so much pressure, but I think university is completely different because you can do things more at your own pace and learn in your own way.
