      Yes – it probably evolved as a signal sent by the dominant male in social groups that the members should get to bed

      Whenever I see someone yawn it makes me yawn so I think so, although I have no idea why!

      yes in the same way that laughing is. If you see some one yawn you assume you are tired too and if some one laughs you join in to laugh at/with them.

      Hello! It seems to be! Whenever I see someone yawn I always yawn too! Did you know that scientists have shown chimps and monkeys also yawn when they see each other yawn? Interesting hey?
