      Hey great question tazmania13.
I think it is more a case of eating to keep our senses healthy. We know what nutrients our senses need for example out eyesight needs vitamin A and we find that in carrots. Lack of vit A can leave your eyes dry and itchy. So eating carrots may not improve your eyesight but it will help keep your eyes healthy. Likewise magnesium is good for hearing so foods like nuts or fish would also help.

Hello again! Lots of people think that certain types of food can improve your senses. I think that if it works for you then stick with it! There are still so many things that scientists do not know about the human brain and body – we know that a balanced diet is always good – maybe in the future we will know a lot more about which foods affect maths ability for example (that will be good for me!).

Some foods contain things that are good for your body, like vitamins that help with healing. Oily fish is meant to be good for your brain. I think a balanced healthy diet can’t hurt anyone.
