• Question: Is it actually possible to take a brain out of a body through the nose like the Egyptians did?

      Erm, maybe, but think it would mush it up taking it out through such a small place (never mind being a bit creepy haha).

      Hello again! Yes it is possible! I went to a talk in a museum in London about some very old mummies and I remember that the guide told us that it is possible to remove the brain through the nose. When a person dies after some time the brain shrinks and kind of ‘collapses’. The Egyptians used a special type of hook to pull the brain out of the nose but I think you had to break the nose to make this possible. Urghh!
