      Hi Loulou, it depends on what type of researcher you are. You can work in a lab at many levels from technician to Professor. I did 9 GSCES, then my A levels and then went to university. To be a professor you have to have a PhD as well as a normal degree and years and years of successful research. Some jobs you can learn doing them, others you have to study first.
