      Not necessarily – ‘intelligence’ is probably a combination of the number of neurons together with the way in which they are connected. However, every animals brain is perfectly adapted for what they need to do – for example, some birds spatial memories are probably as good as ours, so they can remember where they buried their worms

      Noone has found any links between brain size and intelligence – its what you do with what you got that counts 🙂

      Across species brain size related to the species size is an indicator of superior intelligence, eg humans having bigger brains than chimpanzees, dolphins have big brains. Within a species there is quite a lot of variation in brain size, and there are some very clever small people. Its the complexity of the connections in the brain that help. That said I believe Einstein had a big brain!

      Hello! We can research this by taking brain scans to look at the size of people’s brains and then see how that compares to their intelligence on a test for example. But I don’t think that there is any strong evidence for this – I have not come across any.
