      Yes, the evidence is that the best thing you can do for a brain is keep fit, to keep a good blood supply to the brain, which helps stop brain cells dying. Physical exercise is better for the brain than mental brain training games despite what the ads say!

      Hello! Yes there is plenty of evidence to suggest that physical fitness does influence how well the brain works. This is largely to do with the fact that exercise increases blood flow and blood circulation around the brain which keeps the brain healthy. Of course, you can exercise your brain mentally as well – by doing some ‘brain training’, reading, puzzles, and talking to friends.

      It has been shown that being active and doing exercise releases hormones that can also help concentration. It is good to be healthy anyway 🙂

      Yep, exercise is good for every organ including the brain. People who exercise regularly are thought to be at reduced risk of developing neurodegenerative disorders like Alzheimer’s Disease
