A healthy diet should keep you healthy in all ways. There are foods like oily fish that are thought to help brain function but I think as long as you eat healthily and keep your mind active you’ll be good!

During brain development you need a diet which is rich in fat (the brain is mostly fat) and sugar (which provides glucose so that the cells can produce energy – the brain is the most energy-demanding organ in the body). That’s why kids diet’s should be relatively high in these two products (and is probably why most kids, including my kids, continually demand them!). When the brain has finished developing, you don’t need so much of these chemicals – just enough to keep the brain ticking along nicely

By the time you are two your brain is almost fully grown. However foods that are good for your immunity like most fruit and veg will reduce infections in the brain and help damaged/old cells divide and repair quicker.

Hello! There are people who believe this is true – that certain foods make your brain grow better and increase your brain function. For example, a lot of people – scientists included – think that eating more fish will improve your memory because fish contains essential oils and acids like omega 3.
