  I spend most of my time in the lab recording from cultured brain cells. I put drugs on them which makes them change their activity patterns. The drugs we use can mimic chemical changes in the brain so we can see how individual cells in the brain might act to a change that would normally happen in the brain.

Question: how will you do your research???
